,%20and%20some%20sweet%20chili%20sauce.%20%20I%20found%20the%20Kinder%E2%80%99s%20easily%20right%20at%20my%20own%20neighborhood%20grocery%20store%20and%20I%E2%80%99m%20hooked!%20It%E2%80%99s%20incredible%20stuff.%20If%20you%20use%20another%20brand,%20try%20to%20find%20something%20with%20a%20little%20heat.%20The%20slightly%20sweet/heat%20combination%20is%20what%20really%20makes%20these%20ribs%20so%20special.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECountry%20style%20ribs%20are%20a%20meaty,%20flavorful,%20inexpensive%20cut%20which%20makes%20them%20a%20good%20choice%20when%20serving%20a%20group.%20Jim%20seasoned%20the%20ribs%20with%20the%20steak%20seasoning%20and%20garlic%20salt%20and%20then%20marinated%20them%20in%20the%20sweet%20chili%20sauce.%20After%20marinating%20for%20a%20couple%20of%20hours,%20they%20were%20ready%20for%20the%20grill.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EJim%20cooked%20the%20ribs%20over%20indirect%20heat%20for%20about%2045%20minutes%20then%20moved%20them%20over%20direct%20heat%20and%20began%20basting%20them%20with%20a%20mixture%20of%20hot%20and%20mild%20Kinder%E2%80%99s%20BBQ%20Sauce%20while%20they%20finished%20cooking.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhile%20the%20ribs%20cooked,%20we%20sat%20with%20sis-in-law,%20Gale,%20on%20the%20deck%20sipping%20cocktails%20made%20by%20my%20husband%20who%20we%20all%20believe%20was%20a%20bartender%20in%20another%20life.%20He%20took%20a%20look%20at%20my%20brother%E2%80%99s%20offerings%20and%20threw%20these%20together.%20A%20little%20gin,%20a%20little%20fruit%20juice,%20fresh%20lemon,%20fresh%20lime,%20a%20touch%20of%20Triple%20Sec%20and%20an%20apple%20wedge%20garnish.%20So%20fresh,%20just%20the%20right%20amount%20of%20sweetness,%20and%20so%20summery.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHere%20I%20am%20(left)%20with%20my%20sister%20Barb%20(right).%20She%20popped%20over%20for%20dinner%20from%20her%20place%20near%20by.%20She%20also%20lives%20in%20the%20area%20and%20it%20was%20so%20great%20to%20see%20her.%20My%20sister%20Marj%20was%20with%20us%20as%20well%20but%20was%20behind%20the%20camera%20for%20this%20shot.%20Tough%20beans%20Marj.%20Aaah,%20just%20kiddin%E2%80%99.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20sweet%20chili%20sauce%20in%20combination%20with%20the%20BBQ%20sauce%20creates%20a%20really%20beautiful%20and%20incredibly%20tasty%20caramelization.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETime%20to%20serve%20up!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBoy%20%234%20was%20a%20happy%20camper.%20Ribs,%20potatoes,%20and%20corn%20on%20the%20cob.%20That%20just%20about%20covers%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20guys%20relaxing%20after%20the%20big%20meal.%20We%20fell%20in%20love%20with%20the%20new%20fireplace%20they%20just%20had%20done.%20What%20a%20gorgeous%20focal%20point%20for%20this%20great%20big%20room.%20I%20can%20only%20imagine%20how%20pretty%20it%20will%20be%20to%20look%20out%20those%20windows%20when%20the%20snow%20comes%20and%20there%20is%20a%20big,%20roaring%20fire%20in%20that%20fireplace.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIf%20you%20get%20a%20chance%20to%20fire%20up%20the%20grill%20one%20more%20time%20this%20summer,%20give%20these%20a%20try!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EJim%E2%80%99s%20Country%20Style%20BBQ%20Ribs%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EInstructions:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESeason%20ribs%20with%20garlic%20salt%20and%20steak%20seasoning%20on%20all%20sides.%20Place%20in%20a%20large%20dish%20and%20add%20the%20sweet%20chili%20sauce,%20turning%20to%20coat%20the%20ribs.%20Cover%20the%20dish%20and%20refrigerate%20for%20a%20minimum%20of%202%20hours%20or%20overnight.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlace%20on%20the%20grill%20and%20cook,%20covered,%20over%20low%20or%20indirect%20heat,%20turning%20occasionally.%20While%20ribs%20are%20cooking,%20combine%20some%20of%20the%20mild%20and%20hot%20BBQ%20sauce%20in%20a%20small%20mixing%20bowl%20to%20achieve%20the%20heat%20level%20desired.%20After%20about%2045%20minutes,%20baste%20the%20ribs%20with%20sauce.%20Increase%20heat%20and%20continue%20to%20cook,%20basting%20every%20now%20and%20then%20and%20turning%20often,%20for%20another%2015%20to%2020%20minutes%20or%20till%20cooked%20through%20and%20nicely%20caramelized.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENotes:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDon't%20pierce%20ribs%20with%20a%20fork%20while%20cooking.%20To%20retain%20the%20juices%20use%20tongs%20to%20turn%20them%20on%20the%20grill.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhen%20cooking%20pork%20it's%20important%20to%20cook%20to%20an%20internal%20temperature%20of%20145%20degrees%20F.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E2.2%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ehttp://www.fromvalerieskitchen.com/2013/09/jims-country-style-bbq-ribs/%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20recipe%20is%20From%20Valerie's%20Kitchen.%20Find%20more%20at%20http://www.fromvalerieskitchen.com%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
