Ingredientes
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. baking pwdr
- 2/3 c. lowfat milk
- 1/3 c. vegetable shortening
Direcciones
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Sift together flour, salt, sugar and baking pwdr into mixing bowl. Make a well in the flour mix and add in the lowfat milk. Add in shortening and begin kneading with hands (to cut in) the vegetable shortening and flour in the lowfat milk till thoroughly mixed. Add in lowfat milk, if needed to create, and mix.
- Turn onto floured board, and knead gently 6 to 8 times. Pat dough to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut into biscuits. Place on baking sheet and brown in oven 10 to 13 min.
- This recipe yields 9 biscuits.
