  • 1/4 c. Vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp Grated lemon peel
  • 1/4 c. Fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tsp Chopped garlic
  • 2 tsp Dry mint
  • 1 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Freshly grnd pepper
  • 2 lb Boneless, trimmed leg of lamb or possibly beef sirloin, cut into 2-inch Pcs
  • 4 x Green onions (white part only), cut into eighteen 1-inch pcs
  • 18 x Fresh mint leaves
  • 1 x Lemon, cut into wedges (optional)

Direcciones

  1. 1. Make marinade: Combine oil, lemon peel, lemon juice, garlic, mint, salt and pepper in large bowl. Set aside.
  2. 2. Add in meat, tossing to coat. Cover and chill 4 hrs or possibly overnight.
  3. 3. Remove meat from refrigerator 30 min before grilling. Heat grill.
  4. Thread 6 skewers alternately with meat, mint leaf, green onion, beginning and ending with meat. Grill over medium-warm heat 12 to 15 min for lamb, 12 min for beef, turning frequently and basting every 3 min with remaining marinade. Garnish with lemon wedges.
