Receta Lentil Soup
This is my super easy, staple Lentil soup that everyone eats and enjoys. It's healthy and mild, good for everyone.
Ingredientes
- 7 1/2 cups water
- 7 1/2 tsp Vegetable bouillon
- 1 1/2 cups dried lentils
- 1 large yellow onion
- 1 pkg. frozen chopped spinach
- 1 cup carrots chopped
- 1/2 cups celery chopped
- 1 large potato cubed
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- Fresh ground black pepper to taste
Direcciones
- Heat water, dissolve bouillon.
- Add lentils, chopped onions, carrots, celery, potato, spinach, and seasoning.
- Bring to boil and simmer for 30 minutes
- Let cool for 10 minutes
- Top soup with grated parmesan or swiss cheese (if desired)
- Serve with warm french or sour dough bread!
