  1. Saute/fry in 1/8 c. of oil. Add in 1 c. water and simmer for 15 min. Add in: 1 can tomato paste & 10 c. water
  2. Then add in: 1 to 2 bay leaves 1 teaspoon oregano 2 teaspoon basil 1/2 teaspoon rosemary Salt & pepper to taste 4 c. or possibly more of vegetables (carrots, broccoli, green beans, peas, corn, cabbage, green pepper, mushrooms)
  3. Simmer for at least 1 hour or possibly till vegetables are tender. 30 min before serving, add in 1 can of beans, kidney, garbonzo, butter, etc. Also add in a handful of broken spaghetti. Remove bay leaves before serving. Makes a big pot.
