.%20%20There%20was%20a%20restaurant%20where%20I%20used%20to%20live%20called%20Mi%20Casa.%20%20Their%20salsa%20was%20the%20best.%20It%20was%20thick,%20chunky%20and%20oh%20so%20flavorful.%20%20Then%20the%20restaurant%20was%20sold%20and%20the%20new%20owners%20did%20not%20make%20it%20quite%20the%20same.%20%20A%20little%20while%20later%20I%20became%20friends%20with%20the%20original%20owner%20and%20guess%20what%20she%20shared%20with%20me......her%20salsa%20recipe.%20%20I%20love%20it%20because%20you%20can%20make%20it%20year%20round.%20%20I%20have%20adpated%20the%20a%20bit%20throught%20the%20years%20though.%20%20It%20is%20so%20delicious,%20versatile%20and%20I%20could%20eat%20a%20whole%20batch%20with%20a%20spoon.%20%20It%20is%20that%20good!%20%20The%20original%20recipe%20has%20you%20canning%20part%20of%20it%20and%20then%20adding%20to%20that.%20%20It%20is%20so%20easy%20I%20just%20make%20it%20fresh%20each%20time.%20%20%20Sorry%20there%20is%20no%20picture,%20unfortunately%20I%20won't%20be%20making%20any%20until%20I%20get%20a%20new%20blender!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMi%20Casa%20Salsa%203%20(14%201/2%20oz.)%20canned%20diced%20tomatoes%20(Use%20petite%20diced%20for%20atleast%201%20can)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1-2%20jalepenos%20(more%20or%20less%20depending%20on%20how%20hot%20you%20like%20it.)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E3/4%20cup%20onion,%20chopped.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20a%20blender%20or%20food%20processor%20place%20jalepenos%20and%201/2%20cup%20onions.%20%20Blend%20for%20a%20few%20seconds.%20%20Add%202%20cans%20of%20the%20tomatoes%20(save%20the%20petite%20diced),%20cumin,%20sugar,%20garlic%20salt,%20lime%20juice,%20pepper.%20%20Process%20until%20ingredients%20are%20mixed%20well.%20%20Add%20cilantro%20a%20bit%20at%20a%20time%20until%20the%20desired%20taste%20is%20achieved.%20%20I%20always%20end%20up%20adding%20a%20bit%20more%20of%20garlic%20salt,%20pepper%20or%20lime%20juice,%20depending%20on%20my%20tastes%20for%20the%20day.%20%20Pour%20from%20blender%20into%20a%20bowl%20and%20add%20the%20other%20can%20of%20tomatoes%20and%20the%20rest%20of%20the%20onion.%20%20You%20can%20add%20more%20onion%20or%20even%20some%20green%20peppers%20if%20you%20like.%20%20Chill%20for%20a%20few%20hours.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAs%20the%20original%20recipe%20states:%20%22%20Fat%20free%20enjoy%20with%20baked%20tortilla%20chips%22%20Thanks%20my%20dear%20friend%20Esther!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EEnjoy!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E~Tiffanee%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
