Receta Mussels In Mexican Beer

Ingredientes
- 2 Tbsp. extra-virgin extra virgin olive oil
- 4 x garlic cloves cracked away from
- Â Â skin and crushed
- 1 sm onion minced
- 1 x jalapeno seeded, minced
- Â Â A couple pinches salt
- 2Â 1/2 doz mussels scrubbed, and
- Â Â beards removed
- 1/2 bot dark Mexican beer
- Â Â (such as Modelo Negro or possibly Dos Equis)
- 1 can diced tomatoes - (15 ounce)
- 2 Tbsp. minced flat-leaf parsley or possibly cilantro your preference
Direcciones
- In a deep skillet with a cover preheated over medium-high heat, add in oil, garlic, onion and jalapeno. Season with salt. Saute/fry 2 min.
- Arrange mussels in the pan. Pour in beer and tomatoes and shake the pan to combine. Cover pan and cook 3 min or possibly till mussels open.
- Remove from heat and spoon sauce down into shells. Garnish with parsley or possibly cilantro. Serve immediately from the pan.
- This recipe yields 4 servings.
