Receta Native Pancit Canton with Prawns
One of the many variants of 'Pancit' is Canton. I used egg noodles for this recipe.
Ingredientes
- 500g Egg noodles
- 2 tbsp Canola Oil
- 2 tsp Minced garlic
- 1/4 cup Sliced onions
- 1/4 cup Peeled prawns
- 1/4 cup Sliced pork
- 1/4 cup Sliced chicken gizzard
- 1/4 cup Slice chicken liver
- 1/4 cup Sliced shitake mushrooms
- 1 pc Chinese chorizo, sliced (opitional)
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1/2-1 tsp Chicken powder
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
- 2 1/2 cups Water (or as needed)
- 1/2 cup Sliced carrots
- 1/2 cup julienned green beans
- 1 cup Shredded cabbage
- 5 pcs calamansi
Direcciones
- Heat oil in a wok.
- Sauté onion, garlic chicken liver and gizzard
- Add pork and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add mushrooms, prawns,and chorizo.
- Season with soy sauce.
- Add water and boil on high heat.
- Mix in carrots and cabbage, cover with a lid and turn fire to low so that the vegetables are cooked by the steam.
- Season with chicken powder and pepper.
- Turn off heat and take off the veggie mix and place on service platter, set aside.
- Turn on heat and add in noodles in the hot veggie juice and cook until noodles are done to al dente.
- Pour in the cooked noodles back in the pan and mix thoroughly for noodles to incorporate.
- Tturn off fire and serve on a platter with slices of calamansi.
