%20and%20posting%20two%20days%20late,%20so%20I%20almost%20skipped%20this%20post,%20but%20some%20of%20these%20eats%20(chocolate%20+%20oat%20bowls!)%20were%20just%20so%20good.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ebreakfast%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECommunity%20Coffee%20sent%20me%20a%20variety%20of%20their%20ground%20coffees%20to%20try.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20was%20a%20free%20product%20sample%20that%20I%E2%80%99m%20reviewing%20for%20no%20additional%20compensation.%20%20It%20will%20take%20me%20some%20time%20to%20make%20it%20through%20them%20all,%20but%20I%20will%20let%20you%20know%20as%20I%20open%20each%20bag.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20week%20I%20cold-brewed%20the%20French%20Roast.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EQuite%20nice!%20%20Roasty%20and%20not%20acrid%20at%20all.%20%20I%20am%20going%20to%20make%20a%20(hot)%20batch%20in%20the%20coffee%20machine%20soon%20and%20I%20will%20let%20you%20know%20if%20that%20changes%20my%20opinion,%20but%20for%20now%20we%20give%20this%20two%20thumbs%20up.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EGevalia%20almond%20milk%20iced%20coffee.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20flavor%20was%20good%20but%20not%20great.%20%20The%209%20grams%20of%20protein%20made%20it%20a%20good%20breakfast%20though.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIced%20coffee%20and%20peanut%20butter%20toast%20with%20condensed%20milk%20from%20the%20tea%20place%20near%20my%20work.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20threw%20out%20my%20crusts%20and%20my%20office%20smelled%20like%20a%20peanut%20all%20day!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Elunch%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBanana%20walnut%20oatmeal%20with%20a%20minneola%20and%20Cadbury%20mini%20eggs.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECabury%20mini%20eggs%20win%20for%20best%20holiday%20candy%20ever.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWild%20berry%20oatmeal%20with%20Justin%E2%80%99s%20chocolate%20hazelnut%20butter.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20100%25%20bought%20the%20oatmeal%20because%20it%20had%20a%20bear%20on%20the%20package,%20but%20it%20ended%20up%20being%20pretty%20tasty.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETurkey%20sandwich,%20citrus,%20and%20malted%20eggs.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThat%E2%80%99s%20a%20toasted%20English%20muffin%20with%20Smart%20Balance%20and%20Applegate%20Farms%20smoked%20turkey.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYogurt%20bowl.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E2%25%20Greek%20with%20pomegranate%20and%20marble%20halvah.%20%20%3C%E2%80%93%20my%20best%20idea%20ever%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EChicken%20sandwich%20from%20the%20cafeteria.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAn%20everything%20bagel%20with%20mayo,%20mustard,%20spicy%20chicken,%20Munster%20cheese,%20and%20fancy%20lettuce.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Esnack%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECoffee%20all%20day%20every%20day.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWorth%20mentioning%20were%20this%20short,%20skim%20caramel%20macchiato.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20the%20fact%20that%20Hungry%20Ghost%20has%20Stumptown%20cold%20brew%20on%20draft.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EEaster%20candy.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETurkey%20jerky.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAmple%20Hills!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESalted%20crack%20caramel%20+%20salted%20honey%20with%20honeycomb%20and%20chocolate-covered%20potato%20chips.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Edinner%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EChipotle,%20because%20heaven%20forbid%20we%20go%20longer%20than%20five%20days%20without%20rice%20bowls.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOr%20salty%20lime%20chips,%20or%20giant%20diet%20cokes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20made%20us%20a%20huge%20batch%20of%20marinara%20sauce%20in%20the%20crockpot.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%20was%20a%20great%20idea%20in%20theory,%20but%20I%20didn%E2%80%99t%20season%20the%20sauce%20enough%20and%20the%20end%20result%20was%20very%20%E2%80%9Cmeh.%E2%80%9D%20%20Too%20bad%20we%20ate%20it%20three%20days%20in%20row%20for%20dinner%20and%20still%20have%20gallons%20left.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20best%20part%20of%20that%20meal%20was%20our%20side%20dish%20%E2%80%93%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eroasted%20broccoli%20with%20pesto%20gouda%20melted%20on%20top.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOn%20a%20much%20more%20exciting%20night,%20I%20had%20drinks%20with%20a%20girlfriend%20at%20my%20favorite%20Brooklyn%20bar%20%E2%80%93%20Pork%20Slope.%20%20No%20photos,%20but%20I%20had%20a%20Keegan%E2%80%99s%20Mother%E2%80%99s%20Milk%20Stout%20on%20draft%20that%20rocked%20my%20socks%20off.%20%20Then%20we%20met%20up%20with%20Adam%20for%20dinner%20at%20Talde,%20Pork%20Slope%E2%80%99s%20Asian-American%20sister.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThat%E2%80%99s%20my%20Navy%20Grog%20%7BDiplomatico%20rum,%20honey%20syrup,%20lime%20and%20grapefruit%20juices%7D%20and%20kale%20salad%20%7Bcantaloupe,%20pickled%20beets,%20candied%20almonds,%20creamy%20ponzu%7D.%20%20I%20am%20going%20to%20be%20heartbroken%20when%20we%20move%20on%20from%20our%20national%20kale%20obsession.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHappy%20Easter%20to%20all%20my%20readers%20who%20celebrate.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELike%20Loading...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERelated%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
