%20is%20much%20less%20time%20consuming%20and%20easier%20to%20prepare,%20so%20there's%20no%20problem%20in%20putting%20that%20together%20from%20scratch.%20The%20last%20thing%20you%20need%20are%20strawberries,%20raspberries,%20or%20blueberries.%20Any%20of%20these%20fruits%20will%20do%20just%20fine;%20however,%20strawberries%20should%20be%20your%20first%20choice!%20Using%20a%20selection%20of%20strawberries,%20prepare%20them%20by%20slicing%20them%20to%20about%201/8%20inch%20thickness.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBegin%20by%20defrosting%20two%20puff%20pastry%20sheets%20for%20a%20couple%20of%20hours.%20Place%20them%20in%20the%20fridge%20until%20ready%20to%20use,%20as%20you%20certainly%20want%20the%20dough%20to%20be%20well%20chilled%20which%20will%20result%20in%20a%20much%20puffy%20rise.%20Preheat%20your%20oven%20to%20425%20F.%20%20Roll%20out%20the%20puff%20pastry%20on%20a%20floured%20cutting%20board%20and%20roll%20out%20the%20sheet%20until%20it%20is%20about%2012%22%20x%2012%22.%20Using%20a%202%20to%203%20inch%20cookie%20cutter,%20begin%20to%20cut%20little%20round%20disks,%20discarding%20the%20excess%20left%20over.%20Use%20a%20mini%20cupcake%20pan%20and%20place%20a%20disk%20in%20each%20slot%20as%20you%20would%20if%20you%20were%20making%20little%20tart%20shells,%20but%20don't%20press%20down%20too%20hard%20(and%20no%20poking%20holes%20in%20the%20pastry%20with%20a%20fork%20on%20this%20one).%20Using%20a%20pastry%20brush,%20apply%20a%20very%20thin%20layer%20of%20egg%20wash%20to%20each%20one.%20%20Bake%20for%20about%2012%20to%2014%20minutes%20or%20so,%20keeping%20a%20close%20eye%20on%20them%20so%20they%20don't%20burn.%20They%20should%20puff%20up%20to%20really%20nice%20round%20puff%20pastry%20balls.%20Remove%20from%20the%20oven%20and%20allow%20to%20cool.%20Once%20cooled,%20you%20can%20take%20a%20very%20sharp%20knife%20and%20slice%20them%20horizontally%20right%20at%20the%20seam.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20Bavarian%20Cream%20is%20not%20difficult%20to%20prepare.%20In%20fact,%20you%20could%20prepare%20it%20before%20you%20start%20anything%20else%20which%20would%20give%20it%20time%20to%20cool%20down%20in%20the%20fridge.%20Get%20the%20following%20ingredients%20together:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EStart%20by%20diluting%20the%20powdered%20gelatin%20in%20the%20water,%20stirring%20well.%20Set%20aside.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EUsing%20a%20medium%20size%20bowl,%20whisk%20briskly%20the%20egg%20yolk,%20sugar,%20and%20salt.%20If%20you%20want,%20you%20may%20use%20an%20electric%20hand%20mixer%20with%20a%20whisk%20attachment.%20Whisk%20until%20the%20egg%20yolk%20doubles%20in%20size%20and%20becomes%20a%20light%20yellow%20and%20silky.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20a%20sauce%20pan,%20bring%20the%20milk%20to%20a%20boil;%20however,%20before%20it%20comes%20to%20a%20boil,%20take%20a%20few%20tablespoons%20of%20the%20milk%20and%20slowly%20add%20it%20to%20the%20egg%20yolk,%20stirring%20the%20egg%20yolk%20constantly%20so%20that%20it%20doesn't%20clump.%20You%20are%20wanting%20to%20bring%20the%20temperature%20of%20the%20egg%20yolk%20up%20to%20where%20it%20won't%20cook%20it%20when%20you%20slowly%20pour%20the%20rest%20of%20the%20milk%20into%20the%20bowl.%20Once%20the%20milk%20has%20come%20to%20a%20boil,%20add%20it%20slowly%20to%20the%20yolk%20and%20stir%20well%20with%20a%20hand%20whisk.%20Return%20the%20combination%20to%20the%20sauce%20pan%20and%20heat%20while%20stirring,%20over%20medium.%20At%20this%20point,%20you%20can%20use%20a%20wooden%20spoon%20to%20stir.%20Once%20the%20spoon%20can%20be%20nicely%20coated%20with%20the%20mixture,%20it's%20ready.%20Remove%20from%20heat,%20pour%20it%20through%20a%20strainer%20into%20a%20bowl,%20mix%20the%20gelatin%20into%20the%20custard%20so%20that%20it%20melts%20completely,%20%20and%20cover%20the%20surface%20of%20the%20custard%20with%20a%20sheet%20of%20plastic%20wrap.%20Set%20aside%20and%20allow%20to%20cool.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOnce%20the%20custard%20has%20cooled,%20whip%20the%20heavy%20cream,%20along%20with%20the%20vanilla%20extract%20until%20you%20have%20medium%20stiff%20peaks.%20Carefully%20fold%20the%20cream%20into%20the%20custard%20in%203%20equal%20parts.%20Don't%20over%20stir%20so%20that%20you%20don't%20lose%20the%20air%20that%20whipping%20the%20cream%20created.%20Once%20fully%20folded,%20place%20the%20bowl%20in%20the%20fridge%20for%20about%20an%20hour.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOnce%20cooled,%20you're%20ready%20to%20assemble%20your%20little%20puff%20pastries.%20Using%20a%20small%20teaspoon,%20place%20some%20of%20the%20custard%20to%20the%20bottom%20half%20of%20each%20puff%20pastry%20shell,%20followed%20by%20a%20couple%20of%20slices%20of%20strawberries.%20Finish%20with%20just%20a%20little%20dab%20of%20custard%20and%20place%20the%20top%20half%20of%20the%20pastry%20puff%20on%20top%20of%20the%20custard.%20Feel%20free%20to%20add%20a%20couple%20of%20drops%20of%20white%20chocolate%20syrup%20on%20the%20top%20and%20place%20a%20raspberry%20over%20the%20syrup%20for%20a%20%20final%20touch.%20You%20will%20be%20delighted%20at%20the%20outcome%20and%20so%20will%20your%20friends%20and%20family.%20These%
