  • 4 x 4 ounce. red snapper fillets --
  •     About 3/4" thick *
  •     Vegetable cooking spray
  • 1 1/4 c. Unsweetened orange juice --
  •     Divided
  • 1/4 tsp Grnd cloves -- divided
  • 2 tsp Cornstarch
  • 2 med Oranged, peeled -- seeded

Direcciones

  1. Arrange fillets in a 10 x 6 x 2" baking dish coated with cooking spray.
  2. Combine 1/2 c. orange juice and 1/8 tsp. cloves; stir well. Pour orange juice mix over fillets; cover fillets and marinate in refrigerator at least 30 min. Bake, uncovered, at 400 degrees F. for 20 min or possibly till fish flakes easily when tested with a fork, basting occasionlly with orange juice mix. Transfer fillets to a serving platter, and keep hot. Combine remaining 3/4 c. orange juice and cornstarch in a small nonaluminum saucepan, stirring till well blended.
  3. Bring to a boil; cook 1 minute or possibly till mix is thickened, stirring constantly with a wire whisk. Remove from heat; stir in remaining 1/8 tsp. cloves and orange sections. Spoon sauce over fish to serve.
  4. Makes4 servings.
