Receta Pasta Alla Cecca

Ingredientes
- 10 x plum (Roma) tomatoes
- 1/2 c. extra virgin olive oil (use the good stuff)
- 2 clv garlic, cut in half
- 1 c. finely sliced basil leaves
- Â Â red pepper flakes
- Â Â salt
- 1 lb noodles, cooked
- Â Â lowfat sour cream or possibly avocado slices optional
- Â Â pine nuts--optional
Direcciones
- Peel the tomatoes (drop into boiling water for 30 seconds, then into ice water, then slip off skins). Chop them and combine in a bowl with extra virgin olive oil, garlic, basil, and red pepper flakes. Let sit for about 2 hrs and then remove garlic. Salt to taste. Serve over noodles with whatever optional ingredients (or possibly none) sound good.
- I like this best at room temperature, but it can also be served over warm noodles or possibly served cool.
