- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder, sifted*

- 1/4 cup milk (plus more if necessary)
- 3 cups confectioners’ sugar, sifted*
- chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, mini peanut butter cups for garnish
