Receta Peppermint Pattie Cookies
When I bite into a York Peppermint Pattie I get a ..... You know the saying, these are just cool and yummy!
Ingredientes
- 2/3 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/3 cup of cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 24-26 small (1 1/2 in) York Peppermint Patties
- White decorators sugar (opt)
Direcciones
- Beat butter and sugar in a lg bowl; add egg, milk and vanilla, beat well.
- Sift together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Add to the butter mixture, blend well. Refrigerate dough about an hour or till firm enough to handle.
- Remove foil wrappers from patties.
- Preheat oven to 350 line baking sheet with parchment
- Roll dough into 1 1/4 in balls, flatten ball slightly and press peppermint pattie into the dough. Mold the dough around the pattie so that it is completely covered. place on baking sheet.
- sprinkle with sugar if using.
- Bake 12-14 mins or until cookie is set. Sprinkle with add'l sugar if you like. Cool on sheet for 2 mins and move to rack to cool.
