- Bring first 4 ingredients to boil and add in 1/8 tsp. baking soda; stir till fluffy. Put 4 qts popped popcorn in paper bag and pour syrup over popcorn. Shake well. Put in microwave for one minute on high. Take out and shake. Put in for one more minute on high. Shake and spread on counter to cold. Fast and easy and very popular!
