Receta PRAWN MASALA

- 1) Half a kilo of prawns
- 2) 1 tb sp of ginger garlic paste
- 3) 1" stick cinnamon
- 4) 2 cloves
- 5) Half to 1 tbs of red chilli powder
- 6) 2 tsp jeera powder
- 7) 1 tsp sombhu (aniseed) powder
- 8) Half tsp tumeric powder
- 9) 1 tsp jeera powder
- 10) 1 large onion chopped
- 11) 2 large tomatoes chopped
- 12) A few coriander leaves chopped (keep some for garnish)
- 13) 1/4 cup oil
- 14) Salt to taste

- Shell the prawns, devein, wash well and drain the water.
- Put ingredients nos 2 to 14 in a frying pan (or kadai) and fry for 5 minutes covered. Then open the lid and fry for 5 mins more. Put in the prawns and fry till the water dries up and the oil comes on top. Remove and Serve in a shallow bowl and garnish with mint, coriander leaves and slices of lime.
