Receta Receipe for Limoncello
THIS IS A RECIPE WE GOT IN ITALY THE ISLAND SARDEGNA A TOWN CALLED
LA MADDALENA
Ingredientes
- Peel 8 lemons and put the peeling no white parts in a glass jar 1 1 liter of alcohol
- 1&1/2 liters of water
- 2 pounds of sugar
- you can use Murto berries
- 2 lb. we grow the bush here in texas lots of berries.

- Receipe for Limoncello: Peel 8 lemons and put the peeling only in a glass jar with 1 liter of alcohol(use the rest for lemonade, not to waste) and leave for 7 days. After 7 days remove the peelings and in a pot pour 1&1/2 liters of water and 2 pounds of sugar and heat and stir just long enough to dissolve the sugar in the water and let cool to room temperature. Mix the sugared water and the alcohol/lemon mix together and let sit for 2 days. This makes almost 3 full liters(3 quarts) of "Limoncello" .
