Receta Rice Cooked In Rich Coconut Milk (Nasi Uduk/Gurih)

Ingredientes
- 1 lb Basmati rice, or possibly jasmine
- 3Â 1/2 c. Coconut lowfat milk, not cream of
- 1 stk lemon grass
- 2 sm Bay leaves, or possibly more
- 1 pch Salt
Direcciones
- Wash rice several times if using imported rice. Place rice in large pot or possibly rice cooker with coconut lowfat milk, lemongrass stick, bay leaves and salt. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and cook till all moisture is absorbed, 18 to 20 min. Remove lemongrass stick and bay leaves.
- Cover and let rice sit 5 - 10 min before serving. It should be soft but fluffy.
