Receta Round Steak Sauerbraten

Ingredientes
- 1-1/2 lbs. round steak, cut 1/2 inch thick
- 1 env. brown gravy mix
- 2 c. water
- 1 teaspoon instant chopped onion
- 2 teaspoon vinegar
- 2 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 bay leaf
- Warm buttered egg noodles
Direcciones
- Cut steak into 1 inch squares. Brown steak on all sides in warm fat in large skillet. Remove steak from skillet. Add in gravy mix, and water to skillet. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Stir in remaining ingredients except noodles. Return steak to skillet, cover. Simmer for 1 hour and 30 min stirring occasionally. Remove bay leaf. Serve steak over warm buttered noodles. Yield: 5 to 6 servings.
