    Jennie: I went pear/apple picking and needed to use the pears before they went too soft. Tried this recipe and it was great....easy, too. My husband thanks you and I thank you. Steve had it with ice cream/whipped cream....I had it with cheese. Excellent. N

      Looks great Jennie, I love all fruit tarts and a chef friend of mine makes pear tart for his restaurant and I fell in love with it. Never really used pears before this.
