Ingredientes

  • 4 graham cracker sheets (about 2 ounces), processed to a fine crumb in a food processor
  • 3 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
  • 2 squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • Generous pinch of salt
  • 1/3 cup buttermilk
  • 1/3 cup water
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • For frosting:
  • 4 large egg whites, at room temperature
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon cream of tartar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Special equipment: thermometer, culinary hand torch
