This is a traditional greek dip used with falafel sandwiches, gyros, etc. I also use it in my wraps or as a veggie dip.

  • at least (2) 15 oz. cans of chickpeas (garbanzo beans) rinsed well. (If you like it a thick consistency then use more)
  • 2 tbsp Cumin
  • juice from 1 lemon
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • up to 1/2 cup water
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4-1/2 cup sesame tahini
  • 1 large clove of garlic

Direcciones

  1. Combine garbanzo beans, water, and olive oil in a food processor (or a really good blender) and blend until smooth. Add remaining ingredients.
  2. Other optional ingredients I have added are green onion, sun-dried tomatoes, parsley, or extra garlic, and it makes it yummy :p
