You may not have heard anything about this miracle plant but you will find out now everything you need to know about it. It is a shame that sea buckthorn is not as famous as goji berries because basically they are the same. Sea buckthorn berries are extremely rich in antioxidants and vitamins, especially vitamin C and vitamin A. The amazing thing about this plant is that not only the berries are good for your health, you can also use its buds or its bark which have anti-inflammatory properties and also help in lowering the cholesterol level. Even more, sea buckthorn berries help you lose weight in a healthy manner by inhibiting your appetite and in the same time fueling your body with vitamins.

  • 500 g sea buckthorn berries
  • water - as needed to make 1 l of juice
  • honey - as much as you want; some like it sour, some like it sweet *

Direcciones

  1. Rinse the berries. Add them in your blender with some water and blend very well. Add some more water until you have 1 L of juice.
  2. Now the annoying part. Take a strainer and use it to separate the pulp and seeds from the juice. After the most liquid is separated, squeeze the pulp some more until it is almost dry (we don't want to waste any vitamins do we?). I really don't know if this works just as well with a juicer because I don't have a very powerful one, but you can try.
  3. Add honey or any other healthy sweetener ( no sugar! not good for you!).
