Ingredientes

  • 6 ounces of dry lentils, washed
  • 1 can (15 oz) 50% less sodium red kidney beans
  • 4 carrots, thinly sliced
  • 1 red, yellow or orange pepper, chopped
  • 8 ounces of brown baby bellas, thickly sliced mushrooms, or any dried mushrooms
  • 1 shallot, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • About 1 to 2 teaspoons of Marlene’s own 12 spice seasoning (see recipe below)
  • 8 cups of water
