Receta Slow Cooker Canadian Bacon Soup

Ingredientes
- 1 x 16 ounce package dry lentils sorted and rinsed
- 2 can ready-to-serve vegetable broth (14 1/2 ozs. each)
- 1 x 6 ounce package sliced canadian-style bacon coarsely minced
- 2 med carrots cut into 1/2-inch pcs
- 1 med potato peeled and cut into 1/2" cubes
- 1 med onion minced
- 1 med stalk celery cut into 1/2-inch pcs
- 4 c. water
- 1 tsp dry thyme leaves
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
Direcciones
- 1.Mix all ingredients in 3 1/2- to 6-qt slow cooker.
- 2.Cover and cook on Low heat setting for 8-9 hrs or possibly High for 3-5 hrs or possibly till lentils are tender. Stir well before serving.
- Serves 8.
