Receta Spicy Grilled Salmon Steaks With Black Butter

Ingredientes
- 1Â 1/2 tsp freshly grnd black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp cayenne
- 1 tsp chopped garlic
- 1 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp crumbled dry thyme
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 2 x salmon steaks (1 lb.) each about 1 inch thick
- 1 Tbsp. unsalted butter
Direcciones
- In a bowl stir together the black pepper, the paprika, the cayenne, the garlic, the onion, the thyme, the salt, and the oil till the mix forms a stiff paste. Pat the paste onto both sides of each salmon steak.
- Heat an oiled ridged grill pan over moderately high heat till it is smoking and in it saute/fry the salmon for 3 to 4 min on each side, or possibly till it is cooked through. While the salmon is cooking, in a small skillet cook the butter over moderate heat, swirling the skillet, till it
- is dark brown, but don't let it burn. Transfer the salmon to heated plates and pour the butter over it.
- Serves 2.
