- 1/3 cup (3 ounces) 1/3-less-fat cream cheese
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 tablespoons Grand Marnier (orange-flavored liqueur)
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup strawberry puree

%20%20Dipped%20these%20in%20some%20of%20the%20milk%20chocolate%20also.%20%20Oh.%20My.%20Goodness.%20%20Talk%20about%20amazing!%20%20Chocolate%20and%20Kahlua%20are%20just%20meant%20to%20work%20together!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EStrawberry%20Cake%20Bonbons%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECake:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EInstructions:%20Preheat%20oven%20to%20350%C2%B0.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETo%20prepare%20cake,%20place%20sliced%20strawberries%20in%20a%20food%20processor;%20process%20until%20smooth.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELightly%20spoon%20flour%20into%20dry%20measuring%20cups%20and%20level%20with%20a%20knife.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECombine%20flour,%20baking%20powder,%20and%20salt.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20a%20large%20sized%20bowl,%20beat%20sugar%20and%201/2%20cup%20butter;%20beat%20with%20a%20mixer%20at%20medium%20speed%20until%20well%20blended.%20Add%20eggs,%20one%20at%20a%20time,%20beating%20well%20after%20each%20addition.%20Beat%20in%20egg%20whites.%20Add%20flour%20mixture%20and%20lemon%20juice/milk%20mixture%20to%20sugar%20mixture,%20beginning%20and%20ending%20with%20flour%20mixture.%20Add%20pureed%20strawberries%20and%20food%20coloring%20(if%20desired);%20beat%20just%20until%20blended.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESpray%209x13%20baking%20pan%20with%20cooking%20spray%20and%20pour%20cake%20batter%20in%20pan.%20%20Bake%20at%20350%C2%B0%20for%2030%20minutes%20minutes%20or%20until%20a%20wooden%20pick%20inserted%20in%20center%20comes%20out%20clean.%20Cool%20in%20pans%20on%20a%20wire%20rack%20for%2010%20minutes.%20Remove%20from%20pans;%20cool%20completely%20on%20wire%20racks.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETo%20prepare%20frosting,%20place%20cream%20cheese,%20butter,%20and%20liqueur%20in%20a%20medium%20bowl;%20beat%20with%20a%20mixer%20at%20medium%20speed%20until%20blended.%20Gradually%20add%20powdered%20sugar,%20and%20beat%20just%20until%20blended.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETo%20make%20the%20bonbons,%20you%20will%20crumble%20the%20cake%20into%20a%20large%20bowl.%20%20Add%201%20cup%20of%20frosting%20to%20the%20crumbled%20cake%20and%20stir%20to%20combine.%20%20Because%20this%20cake%20is%20so%20moist%20and%20dense%20you%20will%20not%20need%20a%20lot%20of%20frosting%20to%20bet%20it%20to%20come%20together.%20%20If%20you%20feel%20you%20need%20more,%20add%20more.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETo%20make%20my%20life%20easier%20and%20less%20messy,%20I%20used%20my%20small%20cookie%20scoop%20to%20make%20perfectly%20shaped%20bonbons.%20%20If%20you%20don't%20have%20a%20scoop,%20you%20can%20shape%201%20tablespoon%20sized%20balls%20with%20your%20hands.%20%20Place%20in%20freezer%20to%20firm%20-%20at%20least%201%20hour.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDipping%20the%20bonbons:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20found%20that%20this%20chocolate%20was%20pretty%20amazing%20to%20work%20with.%20%20The%20most%20desirable%20method%20of%20melting%20this%20chocolate%20is%20in%20a%20double%20boiler%20and%20that%20is%20what%20I%20went%20with.%20%20Once%20the%20chocolate%20started%20to%20melt%20I%20just%20gave%20it%20a%20stir%20and%20it%20quickly%20melted%20down%20into%20a%20smooth%20chocolate%20ready%20to%20dip.%20%20It%20is%20that%20easy.%20%20%20I%20loved%20working%20with%20with%20this%20product!%20%20I%20have%20dipped%20chocolate%20in%20the%20past%20that%20just%20was%20too%20thick%20and%20hard%20to%20make%20the%20end%20product%20pretty%20no%20matter%20that%20I%20followed%20the%20instructions%20for%20melting.%20%20Not%20so%20with%20Chocoley!%20%20When%20I%20received%20my%20dipping%20chocolate,%20there%20was%20included%20with%20the%20product%20helpful%20tips%20on%20how%20to%20use%20the%20chocolate.%20They%20highly%20recommend%20that%20you%20do%20not%20microwave%20their%20product%20although%20there%20are%20instructions%20on%20how%20to%20do%20so%20if%20that%20is%20how%20you%20want%20to%20do%20it.%20%20They%20also%20suggest%20using%20a%20heating%20pad%20covered%20with%20a%20towel%20to%20keep%20your%20chocolate%20warm%20while%20dipping.%20%20While%20I%20did%20not%20need%20to%20do%20this%20myself,%20it%20is%20a%20terrific%20idea!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETo%20dip%20your%20bonbons,%20place%20cake%20ball%20in%20the%20chocolate,%20flip%20to%20coat%20then%20pick%20up%20(I%20have%20a%20chocolate%20dipping%20tool%20but%20you%20can%20use%20a%20fork)%20and%20slightly%20tap%20the%20edge%20of%20your%20tool%20on%20the%20pan%20to%20allow%20excess%20chocolate%20to%20run%20off.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlace%20chocolate%20coated%20bonbons%20on%20a%20foil%20lined%20cookie%20sheet.%20%20These%20are%20ok%20to%20freeze%20until%20ready%20to%20eat.%20%20I%20had%20mine%20in%20the%20freezer%20about%20a%20week%20and%20half%20prior%20to%20serving%20them.%20%20To%20serve,%20remove%20from%20freezer%20and%20allow%20to%20sit%20at%20least%2030%20minutes%20before%20serving.%20%20These%20are%20good%20frozen,%20but%20better%20when%20thawed!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20noticed%20some%20moisture%20on%20my%20bonbons%20but%20that%20was%20because%20I%20did%20freeze%20them,%20but%20once%20these%20came%20to%20room%20temperature%20the%20moisture%20dissipated.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDisclaimer:%20%20I%20received%20product%20from%20Chocoley.com%20to%20try%20for%20my%20own%20personal%20use.%20%
