- 100g (7 tbsp) unsalted butter, room temperature
- 500g (4 scant cups) all-purpose (plain) flour
- 1 x 7g sachet (2 1/4 tsp) instant yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 60g (1/4 cup) caster sugar
- 240ml (1 cup) milk
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 200g (3/4 cup) strawberry jam
- Glaze
- 250g (2 cups) powdered (icing) sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 – 4 tbsp water
