Receta Super Simple Spanish Rice
I actually made my own Spanish rice from scratch once, and it didn't turn out half as good as this! If you love rice and salsa, put 'em together for this really quick and easy side dish!
Ingredientes
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 3 cups parboiled rice
- 1 cup store-bought salsa
- 5 1/2 cups water
- Salt and pepper (if desired)
Direcciones
- Melt butter in a large saucepan.
- Add the rice and saute for about one minute.
- Stir in the salsa, then add the water. Stir until the salsa is evenly dispersed.
- Simmer on low heat for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, adding water if necessary.
- Once rice is done, cover and let it stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork and serve.
