Receta Sweet And Sour Catfish

Ingredientes
- 3 lb Catfish fillets
- 3 c. Oil
- Â Â Cornstarch paste (cornstarch & water)
- 3 Tbsp. Oil
- 1 c. Sugar
- 2 Tbsp. Cornstarch
- 4 Tbsp. Soy sauce
- 2 c. Mild vinegar
- 1 lrg Onion, chopped
- 3 Tbsp. Ginger, chopped
Direcciones
- 1. Dredge the fish well with the cornstarch paste.
- 2. Heat a large pan (for frying). Add in 3 c. oil and heat till warm sufficient for frying.
- 3. Prepare sweet and sour sauce by mixing 3 tbsp oil, sugar, cornstarch, soy sauce, and vinegar. Add in onions and ginger and simmer in a saucepan for a few min till it thickens up a bit.
- 4. Carefully lower the fish into the warm oil and fry till crisp and golden.
- 5. Arrange cooked fish on a platter and pour the sweet and sour sauce over it. Serve warm.
