  • 3 cups (in total) of any kind of dry (or canned) legumes - I used kidney beans (rajma), white soya beans and brown lentils
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tbsp ground cumin powder
  • 1 cup tomato puree
  • 1 cup chopped spinach, tightly packed
  • salt and pepper to taste
