Receta Uncooked Refrigerated Bread & Butter Pickles

Ingredientes
- 5 1/2 c. sliced cucumbers
- 1 green pepper, cut up
- 1 c. sliced onions
- 1 tbsp. salt water
- 1 c. vinegar
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tbsp. celery seed
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
Direcciones
- Combine cucumbers, bell pepper, onions and salt, cover with water. Let stand 1 hour, then drain. Mix together vinegar, celery seed, turmeric; bring to boil for 1 minute. Cold thoroughly. Pour vinegar mix over liquid removed cucumber combination. Place in container with lid and chill at least 2 weeks before using. Makes 1/3 gallon (a little over a qt).
