- 5 or 6 dry Red Chilies (can be adjusted more or less) (can be replaced with green chilies)
- A pinch of Asafetida (Hing, à°à°à°à±à°µ)
- 1 tsp Oil
- A small piece of Tamarind (about the size of a Cranberry)
- Salt
- For Tempering: (Optional)
- 1 tsp Oil
- ½ tsp Mustard Seeds
- ¼ tsp Cumin Seeds
