Ingredientes

  • 1 x fryer cut up
  • 1 med onion sliced
  • 1 x clove chopped garlic (I use 2)
  • 1 x 12oz can tomato sauce ( I use Hunt's low salt)
  • 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp. tomato paste
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Fresh oregano (Has to be fresh, dry is not the same) Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 2 c. cooked orzo (1/2 c./person)

Direcciones

  1. Brown Chicken in extra virgin olive oil and remove from pan. Add in onions and garlic and sautee till translucent/soft. Add in tomato paste and mix well. Add in tomato sauce, cinnamon and oregano. Mix well and add in chicken with juices.
  2. Cover and reduce heat and simmer till chicken is done about 30 to 40 minutes.
  3. Serve 1 or possibly 2 pcs chicken per person. Serve sauce over orzo salt and peper to taste.
  4. This is not only excellent but also very simple to make.
