%20the%20menu%20can%20border%20on%20absurd:%20with%20crack%20pie,%20cereal%20milk,%20and%20gummy%20flavored%20soft%20serve,%20it's%20just%20my%20style.%20not%20to%20mention%20the%20cookies,%20oooooohhhhh%20the%20cookies.%20perhaps%20ever%20so%20more%20appealing%20because%20i%20can't%20just%20waltz%20in%20and%20order%20one?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Emy%20most%20recent%20visit%20(a%20few%20bites%20of%20crack%20pie%20filling%20and%20*cornflake*%20cereal%20milk%20soft%20serve%20with%20banana%20caramel)%20yielded%20my%20discovery%20of%20CORNFLAKE%20CHOCOLATE%20CHIP%20MARSHMALLOW%20COOKIES.%20take%20a%20moment,%20this%20is%20big,%20i%20know.%20i%20immediately%20decided,%20damn%20those%20momofuku%20wheat-lovers,%20i%20am%20going%20to%20figure%20out%20how%20to%20make%20this%20cookie!%20at%20first%20i%20was%20just%20going%20to%20crush%20up%20some%20cornflakes%20and%20throw%20marshmallows%20into%20a%20normal%20chocolate%20chip%20cookie%20batter%20but%20then%20i%20thought%20better%20and%20did%20some%20internet%20research.%20what%20i%20found%20was%20this.%20so%20someone%20beat%20me%20to%20the%20punch%20but%20lucky%20for%20me,%20i%20at%20least%20had%20a%20recipe%20to%20follow.%20a%20disclaimer:%20these%20things%20are%20dangerous.%20you%20may%20eat%20so%20many%20in%20the%20process%20of%20making%20them%20that%20not%20only%20will%20you%20feel%20sick%20and%20an%20oncoming%20toothache,%20you%20will%20fail%20to%20eat%20a%20real%20meal%20the%20rest%20of%20the%20day.%20but%20then%20somehow,%20god%20willing,%20you%20will%20find%20room%20to%20consume%20stale%20popcorn%20in%20a%20movie%20theater%20(?!)%20this%20is%20my%20life.%20i%20just%20blog%20about%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Epreheat%20oven%20to%20350%20degrees%20F.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Emix%20together%20flour,%20baking%20soda,%20and%20salt.%20set%20aside.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ecream%20butter%20and%20both%20sugars%20in%20a%20mixing%20bowl%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ebeat%20in%20egg%20and%20vanilla.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Estir%20in%20oil.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eadd%20flour%20mixture%20and%20stir%20until%20it%20is%20almost%20fully%20incorporated,%20then%20stir%20in%20the%20ground%20corn%20flakes,%20oatmeal,%20and%20chocolate%20chips.%20continue%20stirring%20until%20flour%20disappears.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Escoop%20up%20gobs%20of%20dough%20and%20wrap%20each%20gob%20around%204%20(or%20so)%20frozen%20mini%20marshmallows.%20try%20to%20seal%20the%20marshmallows%20in%20dough.%20you%20should%20have%20balls%20that%20are%20larger%20than%20golf%20balls%20(about%202%20inches%20diameter).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESpace%20dough%20about%203%20inches%20apart%20on%20parchment%20lined%20cookie%20sheet%20and%20bake%20for%2012%20minutes.%20Let%20cool%20on%20cookie%20sheet%20for%20about%202%20minutes%20then%20transfer%20to%20a%20rack%20to%20cool.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eyields%20at%20least%202%20dozen%20cookies%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
