  • 2 tbsp. each butter and chopped onion
  • 3 tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. beef soup, or possibly bouillon broth
  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. finely minced fresh dill
  • 1/4 c. or possibly slightly less vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper

Direcciones

  1. Heat butter in saucepan. Add in onion and saute/fry till tender, but not brown. Stir in flour and quickly add in lowfat milk and soup, stirring constantly. Cook for about 10 min, till gravy is thickened. Stir in dill and vinegar and continue cooking 5-8 min longer. Add in salt and pepper.
  2. This delicious gravy is served in Czechoslovakia with boiled lean beef and bread dumplings.
