%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20lunch%20started%20with%20a%20glass%20of%20mulled%20wine,%20with%20cinnamon,%20citrus%20zest%20and%20other%20spices,%20hit%20the%20right%20notes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20amuse-bouche%20was%20a%20round%20of%20smoked%20goat's%20cheese%20with%20a%20beet%20crisp%20and%20balsamic%20glaze.%20This%20was%20my%20favourite%20dish%20of%20the%20lunch%20session.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20do%20love%20pumpkin%20soup,%20but%20this%20one%20was%20made%20extra%20special%20by%20the%20addition%20of%20truffle%20oil.%20This%20soup%20is%20the%20perfect%20antidote%20for%20cold%20Bangalore%20days.%20Roasting%20the%20pumpkins%20does%20bring%20an%20additional%20dimension%20to%20the%20taste%20of%20this%20soup.%20The%20dark%20rye%20bread%20served%20in%20the%20bread%20platter%20made%20a%20delightful%20addition%20to%20dip%20into%20this%20hot%20soup.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI'm%20a%20salad-loving%20girl%20and%20everything%20about%20this%20salad%20hit%20the%20right%20notes%20-%20the%20blue%20cheese,%20the%20fresh%20lettuce%20and%20the%20poached%20pears%20on%20the%20side,%20except%20for%20the%20green%20beans%20which%20were%20somewhat%20stringy.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EA%20pineapple%20and%20black%20pepper%20sorbet%20was%20served%20in%20between%20courses%20as%20a%20palate%20cleanser.%20The%20portion%20size%20is%20just%20right%20without%20being%20over%20filling.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20went%20with%20the%20vegetarian%20main%20course%20of%20Mille%20feuille%20of%20crisp%20potato,%20cottage%20cheese%20&%20vegetables%20with%20herb%20cream%20sauce,%20which%20was%20indeed%20as%20good%20to%20taste%20as%20it%20was%20to%20look.%20There%20is%20a%20turkey%20option%20and%20a%20fillet%20mignon%20option,%20do%20check%20the%20complete%20menu%20link%20given%20at%20the%20end%20of%20the%20post.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20dessert%20was%20served%20on%20a%20two%20tiered%20platter%20and%20it%20was%20quite%20a%20spread%20-Slice%20of%20Christmas%20cake,%20gently%20warmed%20stollen,%20mince%20pie,%20plum%20pudding%20with%20brandy%20sauce%20&%20a%20scoop%20of%20vanilla%20bean%20gelato.%20My%20favourite%20here%20was%20the%20vanilla%20bean%20gelato%20and%20the%20plum%20pudding.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20brunch%20ends%20with%20a%20selection%20of%20cookies%20and%20your%20choice%20of%20tea%20/%20coffee.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20is%20a%20good%20spread,%20with%20vegetarian%20options%20specially%20taken%20care%20of.%20Given%20that%20it's%20INR%20999+taxes,%20I'd%20say%20it's%20reasonably%20VFM.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EComplete%20details%20of%20the%20menu%20uploaded%20here%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESpecial%20Christmas%204%20Course%20menu%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETo%20be%20served%20%20for%20Lunch%20&%20Dinner%20on%2025th%20Dec%20at%20The%20Square,%20Novotel,%20Price:%20Rs%20999%20+%20taxes%20(includes%20one%20glass%20of%20Mulled%20Wine%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIbis%20&%20Novotel%20Bengaluru%20Techpark,%20Opposite%20RMZ%20Ecospace%20Business%20Park,%20Marthahalli%20-%20Sarjapur%20Outer%20Ring%20Road,%20Bengaluru%20%E2%80%93%20560103,%20Karnataka,%20India,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETel.:%20+91%20(80)%2066700600%20-%20Mobile:%20+91%209538897341%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
