A Very Old clipping.

I have made these many times and they are delicious

  1. Mix the flour, cornstarch, and sugar in a mixing bowl.
  2. Blend in the butter until a soft dough is formed.
  3. If the dough is too soft to handle, cover and chill.
  4. Shape into 3/4 inch balls.
  5. Roll in the coconut.
  6. Place 1 1/2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets.
  7. Bake at 300 F for 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
  8. Makes about 3 dozen
