Receta Raw Apple-Cranberry Tart/Pie

Ingredientes

  • 3/4 cup almonds (soaked overnight)
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut
  • 11 medjool dates (soaked if dry)
  • pinch sea salt
  • Filling Ingredients
  • 2 cups apple, peeled,cored and chopped
  • 1 cup apple, or pear, pulse chop - fine
  • 1 1/2 cup apples coarsely chopped - chunky
  • 1/4 cup Irish moss paste (or 2 Tbs ground chia)
  • 1 cup apples, very thinly sliced
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (2 drops *Medicine Flower Vanilla Extract)
  • 2 Tbs lemon juice
  • 2 Tbs sweetener (honey, agave, etc)
  • dash of nutmeg, to taste
  • 1/8 tsp lucuma powder (opt- nice maple-like flavor)
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries or raisins, optional
  • 2 Tbsp walnuts, chopped, optional
  • pinch sea salt
  • Garnish
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, halved or chopped for garnish
  • 1/2 cup apples, skinned, cored, very thinly sliced (and dipped in lemon juice)
  • 1 dash cinnamon
  • In food processor,. mix 2 cups apples until like applesauce consistency. (no chunks)
