Great summer salad that combines savory and sweet flavors, and can be easily modified to suit many different palates

  • 6 oz. fresh spinach
  • 1 cup of fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 small red onion, diced into small pieces
  • 2-4 oz. feta cheese, more or less depending on indiv. tastes
  • 1/2 cup golden raisins
  • 1/2 cup almonds, pecans, walnuts, depending on indiv. tastes
  • 1/2 cup poppy seed dressing, more or less depending on indiv. tastes
  • Garnish with some fresh cracked pepper, to taste

Direcciones

  1. Combine all the ingredients until well, but not overly blended. Serve immediately, as the strawberries will release juices into salad rather quickly and salad can have too much liquidity as a result.
