.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20daylily%20still%20has%20quite%20a%20few%20blooms%20to%20go...most%20of%20my%20others%20are%20on%20their%20last%20legs%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20heading%20around%20the%20side%20of%20the%20house...Look,%20there's%20a%20little%20somebody%20peeking%20around%20the%20corner%20waiting%20for%20you%20to%20come%20into%20the%20back%20yard%20for%20a%20look%20around.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERight%20at%20the%20base%20of%20the%20arbor%20I%20planted%20a%20few%20nasturtium%20seeds%20this%20year.%20Actually%20I%20sprinkled%20them%20throughout%20the%20yard.%20They%20have%20such%20cheery%20little%20faces.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOne%20thing%20that%20you'll%20notice%20today%20are%20the%20phlox%20in%20full%20swing.%20That's%20a%20rose%20campion%20in%20the%20foreground.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHere's%20a%20new%20little%20perennial%20I've%20added%20this%20year,%20a%20Penstemon.%20Its%20looking%20happy%20in%20its%20new%20home.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20bees%20are%20going%20crazy%20at%20the%20moment.%20Bee%20Balm%20is%20attractive%20to%20them%20for%20sure.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBut%20this%20Dark%20Knight%20Bluebeard%20(Caryopteris)%20is%20a%20magnet%20too.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20name%20to%20this%20one%20is%20escaping%20me%20at%20the%20moment...it%20will%20drive%20me%20crazy%20now%20til%20I%20remember.%20Its%20just%20starting%20to%20bloom.%20Rose%20Mallow%20maybe......%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESuper%20Fairy%20is%20still%20looking%20super%20:-)%20Let's%20go%20under%20the%20arbor%20and%20out%20the%20gate%20into%20the%20%22wilderness%22%20behind%20my%20fence.%20I%20think%20I%20spy%20a%20little%20exciting%20surprise%20out%20there.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhile%20we're%20back%20here%20lets%20enjoy%20the%20wild%20flowers%20(also%20know%20as%20weeds%20to%20some).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20makes%20a%20pretty%20magenta%20flower%20when%20its%20open.%20But%20the%20bud%20is%20really%20interesting%20too!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHerb%20Robert...the%20wild%20geranium%20looking%20pretty%20and%20dainty%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20here's%20a%20hint%20to%20what%20I%20spied%20over%20the%20fence%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYes!~%20The%20blackberries%20are%20almost%20ripe!%20I%20actually%20found%20a%20few%20that%20were%20and%20I%20took%20a%20nibble%20or%20two.%20If%20they%20are%20all%20like%20my%20sample%20they%20will%20be%20good!%20It's%20too%20bad%20my%20sister-in-law%20isn't%20here%20to%20help%20me%20pick%20some!%20She%20was%20so%20excited%20when%20they%20came%20to%20visit%20to%20find%20that%20we%20had%20them%20growing%20just%20outside%20the%20gate.%20Time%20to%20come%20back%20and%20see%20us%20Sherry!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBy%20this%20time%20next%20week%20I%20will%20have%20bowls%20full%20in%20the%20fridge!%20Until%20then%20lets%20get%20on%20with%20the%20rest%20of%20our%20little%20tour.%20A%20new%20opening%20this%20week....my%20pretty%20little%20pink%20anemone%20and%20look%20who%20was%20hiding.%20I%20didn't%20see%20him%20until%20I%20reviewed%20the%20pics%20on%20the%20computer.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWon't%20be%20much%20longer%20before%20the%20tall%20sedums%20are%20blooming.%20I%20think%20they%20look%20neat%20at%20this%20stage%20too.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHere's%20another%20daylily%20breathing%20its%20last%20breath.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20a%20cute%20little%20hardy%20geranium%20blooming%20for%20the%20second%20time.%20I%20think%20its%20Geranium%20oxonianum,%20maybe%20Katherine%20Adele.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENow%20finally%20we%20are%20at%20the%20veggie%20garden%20where%20there's%20not%20yet%20much%20to%20harvest,%20but%20there%20are%20some%20pretty%20blooms!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20that's%20the%20end%20of%20the%20tour%20today!%20Time%20for%20a%20light%20lunch.%20My%20friend%20Kathleen%20said%20my%20post%20yesterday%20was%20a%20heart%20attack%20on%20a%20plate,%20so%20to%20prove%20to%20her%20(and%20to%20me)%20that%20I%20can%20eat%20healthy%20I%20made%20up%20a%20Garden%20Pasta%20Salad,%20heavy%20on%20the%20veggies.%20This%20is%20the%20kind%20of%20thing%20you%20make%20based%20on%20what%20you%20have%20on%20hand%20so%20my%20ingredient%20list%20is%20just%20a%20guide%20and%20very%20sketchy.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMix%20all%20above%20with%20dressing.%20I%20ate%20some%20right%20away,%20but%20its%20probably%20good%20cold%20too.%20I'll%20find%20out%20tomorrow%20at%20lunch!%20This%20made%20quite%20a%20bit,%20enough%20for%20a%20potluck%20salad%20or%20a%20light%20lunch%20for%20a%20small%20family.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
