I live on the east coast, love to cook, bake, and share. I am blessed with having had great teachers and learning various ways to cook. Ever since I learned how to cook I am somewhat "picky" when dining out. I love trying new recipes and "tweeking" them from time to time. I am always baking and giving away "goodies" yet my favorite foods are shrimp, crabs, and prime rib.
A great weekend breakfast starts with southern style scrambled eggs (cheese and crabmeat included), sausage gravy and biscuits, southern grits, scrapple, and a Bloody Mary (Bobby Flay style).

My dad taught me good ole fashioned, down home, southern style cooking. My husband taught me about all types of meat and seafood. And an ex-boyfriend was a gourmet chef who taught me about spices and alcohol in recipes.
Yet, always watch The Food Netwook and Cooking Channel. I love the tips and hints given by all chefs!
