I live in Atlanta and grew up in New York. I have been married to my husband Phil for 20 years, and we have a 16 year old son and an 18 year old daughter. Other residents of our home include a toy poodle and two shih-tzus, one of them being a puppy mill rescue.

I have been cooking for 30 years and am mostly self taught. I occasionally take a local cooking class when there is something that interests me or that I would like to master.
