Acerca de mí
Here are ten things to know about us. :)
1. We are a family of four; my husband, I and our two wonderful children. Bubba, 2 and Smiley, 5 months.
2. There are 6 pets in our home. The dogs: Toby, Stormy, LB and Lolita. The fish: Sensei and Jewel.
3. We live in a suburb of Sacramento, California – riveting, I know.
4. My husband, Handy and I have decided to homeschool our children and we are completely excited about it!
5. Handy and I collect Hot Wheels – our collection is somewhere between 300 and 400. Cataloging them is on the “To Do List” that sits in the back of my mind somewhere.
6. We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE movies. Our collection is nearing the Hot Wheels number.
7. We have not had programmed TV since we have lived together, it was something Handy never had as an adult and it was something I only wasted my time on… however, our movie collection is huge!
8. I also have a food blog, Hungry Harps. Check it out! :)
9. We are extremely crafty including woodwork, beading, clay work, crocheting and much more.
10. We love auto racing. Any kind, anywhere!
Thank you so much for stopping by, hope to see you again!

Influencias de Cocina
For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to be able to cook as good as my Grandma. I have so many memories of shopping for food - going to the butcher and the grocery store. She liked her food fresh and high quality. My Grandpa just recently told me that whenever they moved she would be down becoming best friends with the butcher before the moving van was unpacked. There are so many memories of being in the kitchen with her while she cooked - she always made it look so easy! Oh, and the memories of tasting the wonderful creations. What I would give for her Fried Chicken again!
I miss her so much and wish so many times that I could call her and ask her for a recipe or advice on cooking a dish. My goal is to one day cook food as she did and satisfy the appetites of everyone who tastes my food - no one was ever talking at the dinner table during her meals, we were all too busy stuffing our faces. :)
