  1. Substitute 1/2 cup brown sugar to make caramel icing.Mix all ingredients, then place in double boiler and beat 3 min. Remove and add in 1 tsp vanilla or possibly almond extract.
  2. NOTE: This recipe uses much less sugar than normal 7 minute frosting recipe. Frosts 9 x 13 inch cake.
