  • 1 Medalion Tuna (About 4 oz)
  • 4-5 X-Large (26-30 per bag) precooked shrimp (Optional)
  • 3 Tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sriracha
  • 3 Avocados
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 medium tomato
  • 1/4 cup Onion
  • On the Border Cantina Style Tortilla Chips, or your favorite chips

  1. Thaw Tuna Medallion. You can put this in water to thaw if it is shrink-wrapped in plastic
  2. Thaw Shrimp. You can thaw this in water
  3. Dice Tuna and Shrimp in small 1/4 to 1/2 inch pieces
  4. combine Soy, Oil, and Siracha in a bowl and blend to create a marinade
  5. Put tuna and shrimp in marinade and mix. Let marinate at least 30 minutes, remixing every 10-15 minutes for optimal coverage
  6. Just before you are ready to serve, make Guacamole with Avocados, Tomatoes, Onion, salt, and pepper.
  7. oil a small round cake pan about 6" with sesame oil. Optionally you can use a few small souffle dishes (2-3" inch round) to make individual appetizers
  8. Place the tuna mixture in the bottom of the pan(s), taking care to get as little excess marinade as possible in the pan(s).
  9. Place guacamole on top of the tuna in the pan(s)
  10. Optionally Chill
  11. Invert cake pan onto a plate
  12. Eat with Tortilla chips.
