Receta Apple Burrito With Cheese

Ingredientes
- 7 Pippin or possibly Granny Smith apples
- 1 c. water
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 c. grated cheese
- 12 lg. flour tortillas
Direcciones
- Peel, core and slice apples. Bring water, sugar and cinnamon to a boil in medium pot. Add in apples. Lower heat; simmer till apples are just tender (not mushy). Drain apple mix, save juice.Place tortillas on board. Equally portion apples and cheese on each tortilla. Drizzle 2-3 tsp syrup over apples and cheese. Fold each tortilla in classic style. Place seam-side down in shallow buttered dish. Drizzle remaining syrup over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 5-10 min till tortillas begin to crisp. Remove; serve immediately.
- Variation: Garnish with whipped cream. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
