Receta Apple Cider Bread

Ingredientes
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 2 large eggs, well beaten
- 2 c. flour
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 2 c. coarsely minced apples
- 1 T lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 c. sweet cider
- 1/2 c. minced nuts
- 1/2 c. raisins (optional)
Direcciones
- Cream shortening and sugar; add in large eggs. Sift dry ingredients and add in alternately with cider to creamed mix. Stir in lemon juice, raisins, and nuts.Mix in apples. Pour into greased loaf pan. Let stand 10 min. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 min. Cool 10 min in pan and remove to rack to cool completely.
