Receta Applesauce Fruit Cake

Ingredientes
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 egg - beat well
- 1 1/2 c. applesauce
- 2 c. all purpose flour sifted
- 1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves
- 2 teaspoon soda
- 1 c. minced nuts
- 1 c. minced dates
- all ingredients for applesauce cake
- 1 pound candied fruit mix adding dates and nuts
Direcciones
- Cream butter and sugar; add in vanilla and beaten egg. Beat well. Sift flour with spices and soda, then add in to cream mix alternately with applesauce. Add in nuts and dates.Bake in loaf pan or possibly tube pan 1 1/4 hrs at 350ðF or possibly till done when tested.
- Raisins can be used in place of dates. When cake is partially raised candied pineapple and cherries can be placed on top of cake very carefully - or possibly nuts can be placed on top of dough at the beginning of baking. This cake can be frosted with powdered sugar frosting or possibly served with ship cream.
