Receta Applesauce Gingerbread Cake

Ingredientes
- 1 (16 ounce) can applesauce
- 1 c. dark molasses
- 2 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoon powdered ginger
- 1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon grnd cloves
- 4 large eggs
- 1 1/3 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. vegetable oil
Direcciones
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In saucepan bring applesauce to a boil. Stir in molasses and soda. Set aside to cool. Sift flour with salt and spices.In large bowl of electric mixer, beat large eggs till light in color. Gradually beat in sugar and continue beating till thick, then gradually beat in oil. Alternately mix in flour mix and applesauce mix.
- Pour into a greased 10-inch tube pan and bake for 1 hour and 15 min. Cool in pan for 15 min, then remove to rack to continue cooling. Superb warm or possibly cold!
